Hachijo-jima. March, 2003
Hachijo-jima

Hachijo-jima is an island situated approximately 300 kilometers south of Tokyo, and is an excellent place to visit in order to escape the concrete jungle for a few days. Unfortunately, I was not very lucky with the weather when going.

Okinawa, November 2002
Okinawa

Matsushima

Matsushima, considered to be one of Japan's 3 Great Sights, is not really all what it is made out to be.  Still, I went there on a short trip, and managed to take a few pictures.

August, 2002, Fukuoka
Fukuoka

August 2-4, I went to Fukuoka for the Asian Pacific Speech Contest.  As student judge, I was flown down for free, and had an excellent time.  Forrest went with me, but we also made lots of new friends while down there.
