I found this old link in my mail box today.... Commercials do not get much funnier than this.
If you have ever worked with a monkey before, and even if you have not (which probably means you have never worked before in your life), you will find this funny.

...:: Queen + Paul Rodgers.com - Official Tour Site ::..

I went to the Queen + Paul Rodgers show in Tokyo tonight, or more specifically in the Saitama Super Arena. From what I recall, the set list was very similar to that listed for the Hollywood Bowl, which was:

Reaching Out
Tie Your Mother Down
Fat Bottom Girls
Another One Bites The Dust
Crazy Little Thing Called Love
Bad Company
Say Its Not True
'39
Love Of My Life
Hammer To Fall
Feel Like Making Love
Drum Solo
I'm In Love With My Car
Guitar Solo
Last Horizon
These Are The Days Of Our Lives
Radio Ga Ga
Can't Get Enough
Rock And Roll Fantasy
I Want It All
Bohemian Rhapsody
---
The Show Must Go On
All Right Now
We Will Rock You
We Are The Champions

I can not really remember anything that was different, except from perhaps a solo by Brian May on acousticic guitar. Although I have lived in Japan for many years, it was really the first time for me to attend a big concert. The Saitama Super Arena is actually one of the stadiums that was built for the World Cup in 2002, and tonight there were tens of thousands of people in the audience. Considering that Queen has not visited Japan in about 20 years, it is not a bad accomplishment to gather that many people. Not only that, but 5 more sets are planned in Japan later this month and early November.

The only weakness in tonight's concert was perhaps that Paul Rodgers is not very known in Japan. During most of his songs, except perhaps "Feel Like Making Love", the audience kept mainly silent. The Japanese audience is of course strange it other ways as well, as they are extremely well behaved even during rock concerts. If an observer did not know a concert was going on, he might as well believe that the audience was observing an autopsy.

Anyway, it is interesting to see that Queen still is able to attract the same big audiences that they did 20 years ago, especially when considering that they can not bring Freddy Mercury along. That alone is a great tribute to their music.

As usual, it took me quite some time before I got my act together and posted the pictures that I had planned to get online for quite some time. Well, then again, it is not like anyone was waiting.

I just got back from a three day trip to Gifu prefecture, which is located just north of Nagoya in Japan. The main purpose of the trip was to attend my friend Yotam's fifth wedding to his first wife. Hopefully, it will be the first of many short and long happy marriages.

Once I get some energy, I expect to post some more pictures, but here is one that was taken on their October 9, 2005, wedding. Israelis do not marry Japanese girls on a daily basis, and it is particulary uncommon for it to happen it Gifu Prefecture. Anyway, the below picture was taken at the Gifu museum of history, where Yotam and his wife Yukari dressed up for a nice photo shoot.
